Common Questions
If you are considering the services of our expert chiropractors, you may have several questions. In addition to the comprehensive FAQ provided below, we offer detailed information on the following topics:
- Subluxations
- Chiropractic Myths
- Conditions We Treat
Why am I in pain?
In order for us to accurately identify the source of your spinal pain or other discomforts, we would require a thorough consultation (which is free, by the way.) Though you may have done some research online or talking to others with similar pains, don’t assume that you’ve correctly identified what is wrong and attempt self-treatment.
Every individual is unique, and similar pains don’t necessarily mean similar problems. We’re more than happy to sit down with you and determine EXACTLY why you are in pain, and the best way to treat it.
Our doctors are highly trained and certified to diagnose and treat a variety of soft tissue injuries and other abnormalities that are common to the human spine. If you are suffering from back or neck problems, extremity problems, or some other ailment, our chiropractic services can provide you with the relief you need.
If for some reason your condition is something that we are unable to treat, we will be more than willing to refer you to the appropriate health care provider, someone we trust.
Can Your Chiropractic Services Really Help Me?
When you come in for your consultation, we’ll be able to give you a more definitive answer, but it sufficeth to say that chiropractors have helped literally millions of people throughout the world to find relief from their physical ailments and maladies. You see, the spinal column impacts every part of the human body, and if your spine is suffering, so too will you be.
Believe it or not, scientific evidence has proven that chiropractic treatment can help children suffering from ear infections, colic, gastroesophageal reflux, and constipation as well as a variety of other ailments that don’t appear to be immediately spine-related. The best way to determine if our services can help you with your pain is to come in for a free consultation.
How Long Before the Pain Goes Away?
Like most things in medicine, this isn’t an easy answer. Typically our patients see some relief after just one treatment, and their pain can usually be effectively managed after just 3-4 treatments. However, if your pain has been ongoing for more than 3 months, or if your condition is a bit more severe, it could take 12+ visits to achieve the relief that you need. You have our promise that we’ll work to fix you as quickly as possible without cutting any corners in your care.
Are Your Treatments Expensive?
Actually, not really. To be fair, few medical treatments are cheap, but without fail our patients have told us that it was worth the money and more for the relief they felt. The exact cost will be determined by your condition (and thus the number of necessary treatments), and the doctor who will need to see you. Luckily, many insurance companies cover chiropractic care, so it may cost you little or nothing.
